Volunteers wanted!
Re: Volunteers wanted!
Thanks Enid and Toria. I've marked ten each.
Bluecat - I vote we keep the SoE thread, as it is there in case people come across this dated term and want to know what it is, but it is good to have it marked as clearly out of date.

Re: Volunteers wanted!
Thanks Will. I've marked some on the list.
How are people doing at the ones marked out? Anyone else willing to do some? You don't need to be an expert - just to flag up dated content or broken links.

I've gone through these now
I've written next to each link below:

How do I critique a research paper? the reliability and validity link doesn't seem right (it goes to the A-Z in Clin Psych wiki), CASP is now called Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine (CEBM)

How do I get NHS ethics approval and Research Governance? All links are broken and so I'm unsure how up-to-date the NRES info is. I've never done NHS Ethics so am not that sure, sorry!

Re: Volunteers wanted!
Thanks Toria, and thanks for volunteering Haymond. We need a few more people, and then we need to mark each thread as checked and updated if it is fine, and ask for help to update those that need it.

Re: Volunteers wanted!
I've posted on the ones that need updating out of my ten.
The effect size and power calculator link didn't work.
Some of the posts here viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19712 might be a useful update for the "Do I need to deal with poo or violence" wiki
Some of the posts here - viewtopic.php?f=32&t=19715 may be useful for the "fitting in both family and career" wiki

Re: Volunteers wanted!
I'll do ten, though I will not be able to start on them until Ramadan is finished, which is in two weeks time. If that's alright
Re: Volunteers wanted!
Mine done - sorry for taking so long. All broken links etc. fixed.
Only one to mention is the 2-2 article - I haven't gone through and checked the requirements of each course; though aware this could be out of date now. Would it better to remove this and just signpost to the clearing house website for individual course details?
