Thanks! Worse comes to worse I'll just do that, this time I'll have a few people actually read my personal statement as I do feel that it was a bit rushed and I could have done a lot better.

Congratulations! May I ask where? I'm still holding out that I may get something.
Thank you. It's for Croydon.... I hope that you do :) where did you apply?
I applied to Greenwich and Croydon, so I can assume Croydon is a no go which I'm upset about as did have a preference towards working in SLaM as I'm currently a Clinical support worker there.
No I don't think you should assume yet they gave me a week notice so it could still happen... Or Greenwich may contact you

Thanks for the reassurance. I can only hope at this point. I may give them a call this afternoon and see if they know anything specifically in regards to Greenwich and Croydon. Let us know how your interview goes!

Hi all,

I received an email this morning inviting me to interview with Islington on the 11th, so less than 2 weeks notice!

Hope you all hear soon :D

So this means that interviews roll over to the following week as well? :o I thought they had to be finished by the end of the week of the 4th so I had completely lost hope!

Does this mean that if we do hear from them, it wouldn't be less than a week's notice? That would be amazing if that is the case!

Congrats to everyone who has secured an interview

To those who are waiting, I emailed UCL for an update earlier this week, and they have responded today:

We have so far sent out two thirds of the invites to interview and will be sending the remainder out by the end of today. If you do not hear from us by the end of today please assume your application has been unsuccessful.

Fingers crossed for everyone :)

Only 1/3 left to go? This thread has been very quiet then!

Trying to stay positive, but the chances of both my chosen places being in the "late to send out pile" seems slim :(

Fingers crossed everyone!

I received the same e-mail. Today is the last day. I haven't heard anything back either. Truly disappointed but I know my personal statement was weak so will have to put more effort into it next time. Congratulations to everyone who got an interview and fingers crossed for you all!

I haven't heard anything - anyone know if there is somewhere on here to post to ask someone to look at my statement so I know where I went wrong to improve my chances next time. I'm at a bit of a loss as thought I had it covered and can't see it even though I keep looking.
