Hi all, reading a lot of anxiety here which is understandable. I don't know the exact status of what's going on but I believe I was told in the seniors meeting that there has been a delay but not a big one, but that it has made it a little slower this year. There was an interview date but I can't remember when it was sorry. Best of luck and hopefully will be able to welcome some of you to my service come October.
Hi there Jason712,

Do you happen to know how many training places Bromley are offering this year?

Obviously I can’t speak about specific services but Hounslow were only offering 2 trainee posts this year

I think I heard only three this year. I think that's due to the pandemic and working from home.

Thank you! Such an unusual time. Has the service said roughly how long they will be working from home for?

What are everyones preferences for training locations? I've put down Hounslow then Ealing.
I have put down Kensington/Chelsea and CANDI - haven't heard back yet!

Hard to say with things changing so rapidly but I doubt it'll be this year. I also believe interviews with Bromley will be held next Friday.

Hey all,
I decided to email my chosen services yesterday too (Brent & Harrow). I received an email back from Brent and can’t make sense of it.
They say that it’s UCL who manage the application so they’re unable to give individual feedback on the application or it’s status. They explain the interviews are set up for July and apologise If I’ve been unsuccessful and didn’t receive an invite this time. They also highlight there will be another opportunity to re-apply in the next cohort.
I’m just confused as they don’t clarify if I have or haven’t been successful in an interview opportunity for that service.

Its probably best to speak to with UCL directly. Thats where my email came from and that's where they told me to confirm attendance to, not directly to the service

I just checked my portico status and was sadly unsuccessful. Will try for the next intake I suppose

Good luck to the rest of you!

How do you check you status? I can only view my application but there is no status on the side 🤔
I have to click “view previous actions” in order to go to my applications and there is no status... confusing things.

it should say as soon as you log into your portal and where it says "my applications" it should have your active application and the status of it

I think because of my UCL username it takes me in another portico for students, but I have found it. Today morning it was 'Under assessment' and now it's 'processed by Admissions' - hopefully I should hear soon. Anxiety is kicking :(

Unsuccessful as well. Good luck to the rest!
