Psychology student struggling to decipher myth from fact

Post by AaliyahM » Tue Aug 20, 2019 5:43 pm

Hi everyone,

I am just about to begin the final year of my undergraduate course. I know I have light years more time until I can even think about touching a CP role but I've already heard quite a lot of things about what happens once you become qualified. One of them is that you have to sign a contract when you become a trainee CP which means that after you qualify you must work within the NHS for a certain number of years. You cannot work privately immediately after you qualify.

Is this true?

Thanks in advance :)
