Congratulations!! It's not a hopeless position though - I was 6th reserve at a uni with a comparable cohort size last year and it worked out. Fingers crossed for you (and all the other reserves!) - it's a long wait so look after yourself as best you can.ClaudioV wrote:So....

Reserve nr 6... which seems unlikely to get a place but well..
As this was my first time applying I should be happy!

I am trying to think positive and think that being short-listed for the interview was actually a great step. See how it goes now!

I'm a reserve too but at Manchester- and the only place I got an interview at... and my first ever interview! It's tough and I'm hoping it works out. If not, I know how I can develop for next time. Look after yourself - do something nice

Same here! Only place and my first interview! It was good experience regardless the outcome to be honest!
I am happy for you too!! Hope the reserve list moves fast and we both can get a place

Edit: I'm on the reserve list at Manchester - just in case you're wondering it it's for Cov! Cov rejected me for interview - the buggers!

Just to say congrats to all blues and it's really nice to see the "it only takes one" brigade out in force! I'm half way through training now and I got an offer after just one interview that year, so it's definitely possible!!
Good luck to all who still have interviews remaining

Well done to everyone getting blues!!
It seems everyone who was interviewed last week know the outcome except for those from Trent.. I'm waiting on someone posting that they got their letter to justify going home on my lunch break!

So turns out I'm 3rd reserve for a place at Trent. Desperately hoping there's movement as its my top choice!! Now the limbo begins...

Trent just became Trent for me.
I feel quite lost. I knew I didn't do too well but I'm not really sure how much harder I can try.
I have Bath in a couple of weeks... any advice is always welcomed!

Sorry to hear that. Make sure you prepare for bath, not a repeat of Trent, ie don't get fixated on what you missed if it won't be relevant.

Chin up Ranna, remember every course is different so don't start convincing yourself this is a bad omen for Bath.Rannasaurus wrote:![]()
