Service user involvement

Post by Randomswirls » Sun Nov 29, 2015 2:59 pm

Hi all

I have done a bit of service user involvement over the last few years and I have found it really valuable experience and I think I want to put it in my form in the experience section but I don't know how to put it in the hours. If I think about it in terms of days I do less now I am working full time so say 6 full days a year.

So do I just work out that its approximately 42 hours a year and as their are 52 weeks a year it equates to 0.8 hours a week?

That's how I ended up inputting my part time job, as I spent 3 years working in the holidays only and just over a year working 'full time' (but actually anywhere up to 50/60 hours per week), so I just had a guestimate of how many hours I worked overall in the four years and divided that down to its equivalent per week. The total FTE seemed right to me, so I ran with it.

So yeah, put down 0.8 if it adds up to the 6/year
