Full Time Position - 5 days/35 hours per week or
Part Time Position

We are seeking a Registered Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team at West Heath House, part of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust.

The service provides residential rehabilitation for 25 adults with acquired brain injury. We take a range of service users both with and without challenging behaviour, and who suffer from a range of impairments as a result of brain injury. Both West Heath House and BIRT generally are known as leading providers of psychology-led rehabilitation nationally and internationally. We are committed to providing the best quality of care to all our service users.

The successful candidate will join our established clinical team of psychologists, Occupational Therapists, a Speech and Language Therapist and a Physiotherapist. The team is led by a Consultant in Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation and the whole of the service places great value on the role of psychology in providing rehabilitation, and a psychological model is the guiding principle behind all our interventions. The post provides an opportunity to work in a service which is genuinely founded upon psychological principles.

The successful candidate will be registered clinical psychologists with an interest in neuropsychology. Experience of working in a neurobehavioural environment, either before or after qualification, would be an advantage but not a necessity. BIRT is committed to supporting Continuing Professional Development and we work actively to support psychologists in further training in neuropsychology.

A full driving licence is advantageous.
