EDINBURGH / GLASGOW 2009

Post by Ana » Thu Feb 19, 2009 10:20 am

Hiya everyone,

May be a bit early, but thought it might be good to start a thread so people can update on the selection process at Edinburgh/Glasgow for 2009.

Anyone had any news yet?

Hi Ana! I thought about doing this the other day!

I havent heard anything yet other than an email from Glasgow asking about my disability status. I've been checking the post every day with a feeling of dread for the last week! Hope we dont have to wait too much longer.

Hi Jen,

Thanks for the reply. I also got the e-mail from Glasgow re. disability.

I have some news! Edinburgh have confirmed over the phone that the first batch of unsuccessful letters were sent on Wednesday, second class. Also, letter packs asking people who have progressed to the next stage to select locations were sent out yesterday! I'm now desperate to check my post!

Fingers and toes crossed......

It has indeed! Is this your first time applying? It is for me and I'm so nervous! Have just asked my fiance to go home and check the mail if he can!

I apparently have an A4 letter from Edinburgh at home, not sure what that would be! Worried now!

Good luck everyone.

I will report back tomorrow. Off for drinks after work and can't really get out of it so won't get home for ages....the nerves are out of control!
Where else have you guys applied? I've only applied to Edinburgh and Glasgow because my fiance can't really move for work :?
