Don't worry they said they're saying to everyone if you have any qs to ask Will instead! Though I rambled too lol

Yeah they interrupted me part way through a very detailed explanation of my research but they did say I had demonstrated I knew this, that, and the next thing so hopefully my apparent inability to be concise doesn’t count against me too badly   Though honestly why someone wouldn’t want to know all about psychometric functions is beyond me
The wait is not fun but regardless of outcome I think we should all feel extremely proud of ourselves for getting this far and for all the hard work and preparation we had to put in :D

Emails are out! How did everyone do? I’ve been called back for a second interview with Highlands so on one hand really pleased they are interested in me but on the other hand wasn’t expecting to be in this situation at all. I’ll be up against two other candidates so the pressure is on!
Congratulations to everyone who secured a place!

Ah congratulations! Is the highlands somewhere you were quite happy to work?

I've not heard anything which I'm assuming means I haven't got an offer. However I vaguely remember Karen saying you might hear sooner if they're asking if you'd consider a different board. Think I'm clutching at straws though!

Has anyone else heard back?

It might be they’ve just emailed me and whoever the other two candidates I’ll be competing with for the highlands place so don’t give up hope yet! I’ll be happy to relocate there if I get the place. All I know about the interview is it will be through in Inverness and ‘less formal’ than the one last week.

You will all get emails with actual results/offers on the same day. At this point they just emailed the people they want to interview again. So don’t worry if you haven’t heard back yet. Good luck!

On the reserve list!

Actually feel like that's not bad at all as an outcome and it is heartening that I wasn't too far off so it's probably worth reapplying next year.

Does anyone know when they ask people to accept or decline offers by so I know when I'll know for sure if it's not come of anything?

Thanks

Well done that’s still a great result and shows you were considered employable! On the reserves I believe there is the chance of being offered a place if anyone drops out between now and the start date.

If it doesn’t work out for us then I suppose we’ll be applying again next year so if that’s the case hit me up if you want to do some interview prep!
