Congratulations and best of luck to all with interviews!

First time applying - not hugely unexpected (yet sad) result:

Glasgow
Edinburgh
Holloway
UEL

Looking at how to increase my chances for next year / alternative career paths...

First time applying at the age of 25. Feeling disheartened but I always said I would try again.

All BiG FAT NOs.sorry I don't know how to change the text colour.
I feel angry not at anyone but the process its just exhausting and disheartening. I think I might need to take a break for a year or so .

Good luck to everyone with interviews, and keep believing in yourself for those that have not.
Hi JB99
How did you receive offer from Southampton uni? Through email ? I have no answer so far!
Cheers.

Can I ask why you didn't do the test at Lancaster? We get a few people every year who either don't do them at all or do one (and usually do really well on it) and then don't do the other. Is there something you didn't realise when you applied?

Not at all bad (or unexpected) given that this is my first year applying, after all it only takes one :D Well done to everyone who have interviews and commiserations to those who don't.
It would be so nice if something made sense for a change

Third time applying.
Looking back and comparing myself to other applicants, I really do feel as though I applied way too early. I'm also fearful that my undergrad grade (62) is holding me back. Probably need to be a bit more strategic with where I apply next time (if I do)!

YAY! Just heard back from Exeter, very happy. To all those feeling downhearted do keep trying. This is the third time I have applied and I was not even invited to sit tests in previous years. Keep going, it is possible!

So so happy. Second year applying and last year had no interviews.

Time to start prepping for interview. Good luck at interview guys. And looking forward to meeting some of you on the interview days :)

Pretty shocked. Feeling pleased.

Also just wanted to note that I got an alert that someone in Edinburgh had googled my name. I thought that these apps were anonymous? Guess I was mistaken!

Some positive news! It’s my second application, had an interview at Birmingham last year:

Surrey
Royal Holloway
UCL
Oxford

Just Royal Holloway to hear from now!
Now that the waiting is over time to get prepping! Good luck everyone and sorry to anyone who didn’t get an interview this year - it can be such a disheartening process. My take home this year was that it seems there are even more applicants than ever to compete with
