I withdrew from the Trent testing as I was unable to attend.
Oh I see. Best of luck to you with your other applications!

And the results are in...
2nd time applying! Wasn't invited to interview anywhere last year but only had a few months of RA experience when I submitted my application - working as an AP now so hoping for a bit more progress this year..

UCL
Royal Holloway
IoPPN
Oxford

Feeling quite defeated to have exactly the same outcomes as last year despite feeling like I've made a lot of progress, but there must be a reason that hasn't come across in my applications. Wishing you all the best of luck, it looks like I'll be going through this all again next year.

First time applying. Currently doing my MSc at Lancaster and volunteering on the side, so more of a trial run for me. Already got two rejections as I post this :(

Bath
Staffordshire (wasn’t even shortlisted to do the tests!)
Oxford
Lancaster (placed in top 200  )

Good luck everyone. All of the determination within the forum is refreshing!
Third reply is back and it's a rejection from Oxford. I expected it, but I didn't like that the subject had the word interview in. I got my hopes up a little only to be disappointed when I actually clicked on the email!

Only Bath left now...

First time applying:

Manchester (sat test)
Exeter (sat rest)
Oxford
King's College London
As a first time applicant I am sooo happy to get an interview, however I am extremely scared. I read in the email what the interview involves and I am dreading it right now 👀
Very excited and even more scared. Wonder when we will hear from Oxford..
Last one done. At least I can stop checking my emails for the next couple of weeks.

Hi all,

Possibly the most stressful week ahead as I'm still waiting for hear back from all the courses I applied for and I have been refreshing my emails every 2 seconds!

This is my 3rd time:

UEL (sat test)
Newcastle
Glasgow
Hertfordshire

Good luck to all the people that are still waiting and my congratulations to the ones that managed to secure an interview!

Withdrew my application today so someone should be getting an Essex interview and see some movement on the Reserve List for RHUL.

Good luck everyone and look after yourselves xxx

Hi All

First time applicant here. I'm fascinated and overwhelmed by this (incredibly long and complex) application process.... let's all hang on in there

Edinburgh (test + questions done)
Glasgow
Lancaster (tests done)
Trent (invited to written test day)
A healthy dollop of "Well done!!!" and "Commiserations" to all!
And to those in a similar position to me who are yet to hear back from most courses - I cannot believe how much endurance is required for this process! - the wait is excruciating!!! I think I applied to all the courses that leave it until the last day to get in touch......
I'm also a Glasgow and Edinburgh applicant and I'm concerned about developing repetitive strain injury from constantly refreshing my emails. Dreading another week of this but the end is in sight! Good luck to all those still waiting for news 🤞
I hear that!!! Even knowing that we have to hear soon is not helping to settle the impatience!

First time applying. I can believe how stressful this process is. I thought I would be pretty okay about it all but thats not been the case at all.

4th time applying

2017 - no interviews - Applied IoPPN, UCL, UEL, Essex

2018 - Interviewed at Salomons - Applied UEL, Hertfordshire, Salomons, IoPPN

2019 - interviewed at Salomons - Applied UEL, Hertfordshire, Salomons, UCL

This year:
Hertfordshire
Surrey
Salomons

UEL
Didn't get an email from Herts, but the clearing house has updated. Fingers crossed for UEL but not holding out much hope. I've decided this year will be my last year applying - it's so much effort and such a long, disheartening process, and I don't want to put myself through it again.

Chin up to all the others receiving bad news, it's never easy, but it's absolutely not a reflection on you :)

Hi

It's my first time applying as a "trial run" as others said!

Holloway
IOPPN
Oxford
UCL
It's looking like it wasn't meant to be this year! We will see :)
Come on then Oxford put me out of my misery 😂
On the positive side at least I will have certainty over what I'm doing the coming year if they say no too!
And it is confirmed! Oxford's subject line including the word interview also threw me I got excited for a split second hahah. Oh well. Good luck to everyone who got an interview and I hope those in my boat don't take it too hard. The Oxford email said they have to reject many capable applicants so it is just one of those things. Not to be for this year!

I just looked in Clearing house and realised that Herts rejected me without sending me an email. I wonder why there are not emailing candidates instead? Oh well still 3 to hear from..
