Hi all,

I hope you're all holding up ok. I'm a first time poster and long-time lurker but I'm posting today to let people who are on the reserve list for interview for Coventry and Warwick know that I am withdrawing my application and will not be attending my interview on Thursday 7th April 2022 at 10:30. Just a heads up as it's only a few days away and I wanted to give people as much prep time as possible.

Still sinking in for me at the moment and feels bizarre to be withdrawing from an interview! I keep re-reading the acceptance email and panicking that they're going to get in contact and say they made an admin error! Best of luck to everyone through this gruelling process, you will get there!

Some background... 2020 was very much a trial run, and I was completely shocked to be put on the reserve list for interview with Edinburgh. I was working as an AP in an LD-CAMHS team and was definitely was not ready for the doctorate at that time! 2021 was my first proper go at it, and my application was much stronger than the year before. So understandably I was incredibly disappointed with a full house of rejections. I've now moved to a different AP role within a Family Safeguarding Model service and my application is not only much stronger but approached differently. Hoping it pays off, this process is soul crushing.

Hi all,

All the best to everyone. Well done to those who have got places. And to those who are on the reserve - I feel for you - good luck. Shame we don't get told what number we are on the reserve list or how long it is; quite different to other universities.

So I've been applying for a long time can't remember how many times Been working in the NHS for many moons. Thought I'd finally share were I am today with this process:
