5 things I'm thinking today. . .
5 things I'm thinking today. . .
Something I've seen on other forums, can be on or off topic, just random stuff that you are thinking but don't particularly need an answer to. So here goes mine.
1. 30+ sessions in I nearly got someone to cry today and it felt like a breakthrough.
2. I'm going to a school thing about mini-beasts tonight and I don't like mini-beasts!
3. It was fun having relatives to stay at the weekend.
4. I'm busy all day Saturday and we have people coming for dinner, what am I going to cook? and when?
5. I'm liking my life at the moment.

1. Tomorrow is Friday which will mean a mini break away from people emailing me asking for things!
2. I feel fat, tired, drained, overworked and need a holiday
3. I'm going to end up working all weekend again (on work stuff not PhD stuff again) just to meet everyones deadlines.
4. I can't believe my friend is going for a PhD for the sole reason of getting a mortgage.
5. Why do I let my ex boyfriend control me like this!? (the only time he calls is when he's free or wants something from me- which almost always tends to be the obvious)
Oh dear- doesn't sound very good!
I don't sound like a happy bunny!

1. My mother is stealing my husband on Sunday so she can parade around with him in order to improve her street cred with her friends. They think he is 'a hunk'. I hope he doesn't mind too much (I suspect he secretly likes all the attention).
2. Does a tin of baked beans constitute a healthy dinner...
3. I have a lot of coursework to look forward to this year. Essay writing a-go-go.
4. I wonder if Pam Ayres will respond to my e-mail.
5. I might put my phone on DND so I can get some work done...once I've just looked at ClinPsy.org.uk for a bit...

1) I hope my babies (cats) are not too cold outside today and that they dont get run over as I just cancelled our pet insurance.
2) I feel bad that mercenery thoughts about insurance went through my head when I'm thinking about my beloved pets being run over...
3) I can't wait for our mini-break this weekend
4)I hope my husband organised for someone to feed the cats...
5) I wonder if staples that get removed feel sad that they never got to be THE staple in the report...

1) Painting and decorating seems extraordinarily expensive
2) Why do e-on get to compulsorily chop down most of a tree we love, that the planners told us not to touch?
3) I could do with our building work being finished so that the amount of dust everywhere reduces
4) Why do the commissioners think we can offer more services if they give us less money?
5) Thank goodness we have some promising enquiries for my locum (at last)
Me and my husband have just had an even more surreal conversation in which he said the staple was probably feeling relieved to be free, and the one he feels sorry for is the one that gets stuck in the top of stapler and has to be removed, reluctantly, with scissors....
